Creating the Action for Resizing & Resampling

Test the Action

Test your action before playing it on a batch of files. Since your test file is still opened, do a File/Revert.

In the Action palette select the action you just recorded called "Sizing." At the bottom of the palette choose the play button. Watch Photoshop resample the opened file. If the file is sized correct, you have recorded your action correctly. You can close the file and not save it

Save the Action Set

The action set now should be saved. Click on the folder/new set that you created, then choose from the Action's palette fly-out menu Save Actions... The action is saved in the default Photoshop Action folder with the .atn extension. Choose Save to close the dialog box. You are now ready to select the files from the File Browser in which you want to run the action on.
