Using the Batch Command with Selected Images

For the Play portion of the dialog box, choose My Actions for the Set and "Sizing" for the Action. This is the action you created in the earlier session.

For the Source portion choose File Browser from the pop-up menu. Do not check any other option in this Source section.

Source: Folder

If you want to batch process all the files in the folder, simply choose Folder for the source and then click on the Choose button to browse for the folder. This means you did not use the File Browser to select specific images as shown in the earlier session.

Source: Import

Certain scanners and digital cameras have an acquire plug-in module that supports Adobe Photoshop batch processing. After you install the third-party plug-in, select Import for the source and the Choose button will show the plug-in if it is support by Photoshop. Such as this one with the Kodak DCS 650 digital camera plug-in for the Mac.
