As Design Desk webmaster, Casey Hitt, creates websites for clients and assist students in developing and formatting web pages. She received her B.S. in Computer Information Science from the University of Maryland. Since August 2006 she has been working as an UNX Systems Administrator for Citigroup.
She started her web design work at the University of Hartford, where she created the College of Engineering website using Adobe GoLive. Later she worked for the Federal Trade Commission updating the Software Developement pages using Macromedia Dreamweaver in addition to the Adobe products.
While studying Electrical Engineering at the University of Miami, Florida, she spent time working as the Assistant Webmaster for the University of Miami Libraries. There she created a brand new look for the library site, including a Flash based navigation bar.
