The following site was designed for particiants of the Smithsonian Folklife Festival 2004 for viewing photos taken.
The photos can be viewed using Flash Player which can be downloaded from Adobe if you don't have it.
All photos are available free of charge for download, simply contact Bobbi Clements at emailto@designdsk.com. We simply ask that a byline be given.
For four years from 2002 to 2005 Design Desk photographed the Smithsonian Folklife Festival. The images were displayed on our website as the festival took place. You can view Design Desk photos of the festival for each of the years: year 2002, year 2003, year 2004, year 2005. Also still available for viewing from the Smithsonian is their websites regarding each of the years: the 2002 Smithsonain Folklife Festival, the 2003 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, the 2004 Smithsonian Folklife Festival, and the 2005 Smithsonian Folklife Festival. The 2002 Smithsonian Folklife festival was called the Silkroad might be of particular interest since it included numerous exhibiting countries and was one of their larger festivals. |
